Word to PDF
Create a PDF from a DOCX with selectable text.
Convert selectable PDF text into editable Word paragraphs, headings and recoverable tables while preserving source page sizes, page boundaries and positions. Complex diagrams remain localized images.
Preparing your tool…
Editable Word conversion is the only mode. Native PDF text is grouped into lines and paragraphs using physical coordinates, font sizes and styles. Editable Word text containers retain line breaks, indentation and intentional blank space; source pages receive explicit section boundaries with matching dimensions. Recoverable ruled tables become real Word tables with editable cell text. Embedded images and complex vector regions such as architecture diagrams and charts are preserved as localized high-resolution images, with surrounding text remaining editable. Complete pages are never inserted as screenshots. Headers, footers and saved page numbers retain their source positions as editable text rather than recalculated fields. This is not the Microsoft Word layout engine: font substitution, uncommon writing directions, borderless/merged tables, complex overlapping artwork and major edits to fixed text containers can change appearance. Rotated text and oversized or overly complex pages are rejected with a useful message. Scanned/image-only pages are directed to the separate OCR workflow; OCR is never loaded or invoked here. Limits are 20 MB input, 40 pages, 200,000 native text characters, 22 inches per page side and 40 MB output. Files stay on your device; the PDF engine loads only when needed.
Yes. Selectable PDF text becomes genuine Word paragraphs in positioned text containers. Recoverable ruled tables have editable cells. Images and complex diagrams remain images.
Complex vector drawing regions are rendered locally at high resolution and placed in their original area. The entire page is not rasterized, and the surrounding text remains editable.
Each source page receives an explicit Word section boundary and matching physical dimensions. Original positions and blank space are retained. Large edits or differences between Word editors can still affect fixed text containers.
No. Only native PDF text and drawing information are used. Scanned/image-only PDFs show a message directing you to the separate PDF OCR tool.
No. PDF and Word use different layout models. Review font substitutions, complex tables and unusual graphics before sharing the result.
No. PDF analysis, localized graphic rendering and DOCX packaging run locally on your device.
