Useful details

Words are counted as non-empty whitespace-separated tokens. Characters include spaces and are counted by Unicode code point. Reading time assumes 200 words per minute. Counts can differ from applications with other word-boundary rules.

Does the character count include spaces?

Yes. A separate count also shows characters without whitespace.

Is my writing uploaded?
